Visual communications and campaigns

project overview

For 3.5 years, I was the lead in-house designer at Wall Street English — a global English school with centers in 30+ countries and a long history of blended digital learning. I worked with a small team to drive brand communications across the international network: from campaigns and illustrations to digital marketing, infographics, and editorial design.

Wall Street English Heroes

A series of real-learner portraits adapted from a global campaign. I retouched and reformatted the images for both print and digital use in order to create consistent style that worked across social content, calendars, and in-center displays.

Illustrations

At the time, Wall Street English didn’t have a defined illustration style, so I started experimenting. These examples were part of that exploration: we tested a couple of styles and approaches to see what could work across campaigns.

Icon sets

This icon set was part of a broader effort to build a more consistent and flexible visual system at Wall Street English, especially in areas where no clear illustration guidelines existed. I started by designing a reusable set of event icons for language centres to promote activities like movie nights, conversation clubs, or seasonal events. These icons were intentionally simple and adaptable: easy to drop into posters, social media, internal calendars, or digital comms.

Reports & Brochures for franchises

Wall Street English is a franchise-based business, so a big part of our work involved speaking directly to potential business partners, not just students. That meant a different tone, different focus, and a different visual treatment. These reports and brochures were designed to present market insights, audience stats, and business opportunities in a way that felt professional but still on brand. (Note: visuals shown use placeholder content.)

Product Explainers for Digital Learning

When lockdown hit, we had to pivot almost overnight. Centres were closing, and our teams needed to explain how Wall Street English’s blended learning model could still work fully online. These animated videos were part of our first response. I designed them to walk new users through the digital journey, showing that while the format had changed, real feedback from teachers and support from coaches were still part of the experience.

Landing page template

This is one of the adjustable templates I built directly in HubSpot. It is designed to support multiple local campaigns and language centre promotions. It served as a reusable layout for lead generation and course sign-ups.
